James you forgot to mention just how gentle these bees were, we were all up in the entrance of the hive and they never once tried to even head but us. After all was said and done and we sere standing around talking then there was a couple that was a little pissy.
James it just sounded like you needed some bees for the upcoming year, so there you are :-D :-D
I enjoyed the company and hope you learned something, I know I did. Each trap out or cut out is different but the same. The entrance of the hive was way up inside of the rock wall and had us scratching our head on how to seal the entrance to the backside of the trap cone. Then the hill billy in-g-nu-ity kicked into high gear. We needed something to extend the entrance to the outside of the rocks, only thing we had was an empty caulking tube which was not long enough but the home owner just happened to have a piece of 1 1/2" PVC pipe. After extending the entrance out and attaching the trap cone, "it was on".
I think I made a pretty good friend this day and a very nice fellow beek, James you are more than welcome!!
