I've been researching the legal implications of owning bees and founf this very informative site:

Dealing with spiders.
Basically if you have happy bees your not liable unless you abuse and anger them. Also you need to reasonably prevent stupid people from exercising their rights to worship at the alter of Darwinism by keeping them in a fenced in area.

Thank you Scott, One of the forgotten aspects of any hobby is liability. Also the Ohio site was very detailed and informative.
