Birdhouse Bees Get New Home---August 29, 2009
« on: August 30, 2009, 06:06:22 pm »
I swear this thing looks like a doll house, they call it a birdhouse, oh well. They have built up pretty well in the last few weeks I've had them. It was time to transfer them and that time was yesterday. Set them up in a deep. After I removed all of the combs, I shook them into the deep and saw the queen in the cluster atop the frames for a brief second before she ran down between the frames. They have more room now and are being well fed.

That was great JP!
The inside of the dollhouse looked just like the trailor cabinets I had last year! Just like a filebox! Look like all you needed to do to make it legal was ad some frames!
Real cool!

your friend,

JP, oh I thought that was just the cutest little thing.  Those small frames of honey were dainty looking, coooooool.  They must have just loved being in such a teeny tiny little place to make their comb and store their precious stuff.  Interesting.  Have that great, most awesomely wonderful day, with that health.  Cindi
