what are you all charging for your honey?
« on: August 05, 2008, 06:03:27 am »
We all think our honey is the best and should be worth a lot, but
I do not know realistically what to charge for example a 1/2 pound bear full of organic honey with label and all.  I figure the container and label cost about $1.00.  What are you all charging for honey retail?

6 bucks per pint.  $3.50 for a 1/2 pint.  Next year, I expect inflation   I feel I'm ripping myself off at $6.  I think $7 - $8 is more fair.  I am not going to do a huge spike, just gradual.

10 bucks a quart is the going price around here.  I think you would be better using a local honey label on it that's more what people are looking for to buy anyways.
