A miracle happened today.
« on: July 12, 2019, 07:46:12 pm »
Acebird came by to see me for a few hours today. We had an enjoyable time and a great meal before he left for Florida.

The miracle, We didn't try to kill each other.    :cheesy: :cheesy:

Lol.  I figure you guys probably have a lot in common.

I remember the first time I went to a Bud thing and people we afraid to meet me.  As far as I know, I got along with everyone...and I don't think I even offended any of them   :cheesy:

We are not our politics.  We can disagree and still be friends.  That's a good thing.  Doesn't mean we shouldn't keep trying to win hearts and minds though!

Did you drink from the jars????
They are so divorced from their own interests that even when their own security and that of their children is finally compromised, they do not seek to avert the danger themselves but cross their arms and wait for the nation as a whole to come to their aid. Yet as utterly as they sacrifice their own free will, they are no fonder of obedience than anyone else. They submit, it is true, to the whims of a clerk, but no sooner is force removed than they are glad to defy the law as a defeated enemy. Thus one finds them ever wavering between servitude and license.

Yes, Cider, she is referring to the ""GOOD"" stuff, but no, he wasn't here long enough to get into it  He still had 700 miles to drive.
