lol Do not despair Cider, our thinking is not that far apart on this one. I think he sounded rather "dumbo" by what he said. But I give him credit for his love for his Country, this Nation and his fellow man. I do not think Mr Trump is the second coming. Just a man trying to help his Nation. But do not worry, that may be as colse to agreeing that we may come for some time.
We shall see! lol

Now you could say its Fake News or one could say it's hee-haw propaganda, but it bears thinking about.

Yes Cider, The NYT would love for everyone to forget how well the country was doing before the virus was brought here. They would like for the public to forget how stable the economy was, how effective his trade deals were, how he and his team irritated terrorism, how our allies were brought into line beginning to pay their fair share of funding for NATO, how we went from being a energy dependant nation to being independent, and not only independent, but an exporter. On and on I could go boring you, not to mention that Mr Trump was the one who shut down travel to China, in spite of criticism from the NYT, WHO, Fauci, Bone Head Joe Biden, and many others. The NYT are so repulsive as to think and hope to place all the worlds troubles on Mr Trump. Surely you, as intelligent as you are, did not swallow the bait that the NYT has thrown out?  Tell me another one; except this time, place it in the humor section.

Good News Good News! I've managed to find a dark corner complete with a chair. Now I can weep in comfort. In between the laughing fits of course.  :cheesy:
PS Didn't I mention it could be Hee-Haw propaganda, or do you prefer to disregard what doesn't fit your narrative.

LOL You should have posted that in the humor section!! (Hee Haw Section), because your last comment actually caused me to laugh out loud!  Thanks 😊
You know, our Bob Hope was from England. (May he Rest In Peace). As they say,  it is a small world. I would not be too surprised to find you may be of relation!

PS I suppose they do not call it Jolly Ole England for nothing!

May I add, hopefully you will soon lose those tendencies to be drawn into dark corners! Be bold, be brave, slowly open your eyes and let  the light of truth shine. Easy does it my friend one little bold, sure footed step at a time!

Hi Folks,

No bad language in this one. My apologies for that Carlin video.

This one does, however, have depictions of nazis. It's oddly fun. I hope it works.:

Hi Folks,

Remember those "End the Lock Down" riots a few weeks ago? Firearms! Vandalism! Looting! Injuries!

Well, now we have the activities AFTER the "Peaceful Protests".

I wonder how many republicans or NRA members are involved in this latest one?

Has the chief Dumbo totally lost it? What with having to run to the bunker under the white house, too, with his usual pout, threatening to deploy the federal military to put down his own people! Is this not one step from a police state? He wants to be re-elected in November. But will the turkeys' vote for Christmas :cheesy:

Martin Luther King said he would conquer the US without ever firing a shot. He has nearly succeeded. Trump is trying to keep all people equal, not letting the blacks totally take over. Too bad the demo idiots are dumb enough to let it happen, the same as the German people voted for Hitler and let him have his way.

Perhaps the real chief dumbo is not the person which you perceive him to be?  Perhaps the real chief dumbo is using his supporters as a last ditch shield, hiding from justice which (may) be coming? Perhaps the real chief dumbo is in a bunker somewhere hiding? I do not know. You tell me. This is big lies section, is the following true?

I don't think that was MLK, but various dictators have made similar comments over the decades.

I also don't think any of this has to do with blacks trying to take over.  If you look at these riots, most of the rioters are 20 something white kids and many of those wearing Antifa gear.  Antifa is a Marxist organization and along with other Marxist organizations and people like Bernie supporters really would like to take over the country and bring about "fundamental change".

We have a clash of ideology in this country that has been going on for years.  Unfortunately, the Marxists are gaining more power and putting people like AOC and Co. into office.  What the Russians couldn't accomplish in the 60s, we are doing to ourselves by supporting groups like Antifa, BLM, and electing Marxists.

Ask a 20 something about the cold war and most will tell you that it was stupid and communism was never a threat.  These are our future leaders.

They are so divorced from their own interests that even when their own security and that of their children is finally compromised, they do not seek to avert the danger themselves but cross their arms and wait for the nation as a whole to come to their aid. Yet as utterly as they sacrifice their own free will, they are no fonder of obedience than anyone else. They submit, it is true, to the whims of a clerk, but no sooner is force removed than they are glad to defy the law as a defeated enemy. Thus one finds them ever wavering between servitude and license.

Other than your first line, I think you are right. MLK did say it, more than once. I'm old enough to remember when he was saying it.
The young white socialists are using them as pawns to do the job, I agree with, but it's like the Palestinians using the Hamas to do their dirty work. The Marxists are using the blacks to do theirs. I was in the Army at Fort Bragg from Oct. 1967 til Apr. 1968 when he was killed, and onward after that, taking riot training. It's still fresh in my mind.

Just to clear the air, I wasn?t referring to Kathy?s first line. I was referring to the communist and  marxist part. I do remember being taught in school that the Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev was one who said it. Apparently they are not teaching this any longer, or the evils of communist or why it is evil. Ronald Reagan was quick to call Russia or the Soviet Union, The Evil Empire.

Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev was one who said it.

A number of dictators have said similar things.  Qudafi said they'd outbreed us (paraphrased).

I can't find any quote from MLK like that, but if someone can find one I'd be interested.  He talked a lot about changing the system, but I can't find a reference to overthrowing the system.

I was in Oakland during the riots.  Lots of fun, especially for a military family.  Combine anti-war and racial unrest and it becomes quite a party.  But again, a lot of those groups were Marxist groups.  Malcome X, as an example.
They are so divorced from their own interests that even when their own security and that of their children is finally compromised, they do not seek to avert the danger themselves but cross their arms and wait for the nation as a whole to come to their aid.
