Jake Gyllenhaal is unusually as creepy as expected in this film, but Rene Russo, as a television news producer, is his match in many ways.  "If it bleeds, it leads," as they say.

Pretty good movie.  Jake looks like he starved himself to look as creepy as possible for the role.

Let's see what rating others give it.  I'd say about 6 on 1-10 scale.

I watched it today. He was weird indeed. Sometimes I thought it was overdid and took away from the plot. And I guess I would have shown at least one rendezvous with Russo even if she shut him down but I guess that was part of the figure it out??? I was a little surprised by the end as I thought it would travel the obvious path that it did not. A bit weak I thought though.... I am with you about a 6 to 6.3.
