Homemade Beeswax candles

Ya"ll probably know this but I just figured out that wax poured in pint mason jar will shrink enough to pop it right out when cool, neat ! would paraffin wax do this ?

Update :
 They will only pop out easily from the jars of the smooth sided variety. When burned they can be expected to last @ least ...... 34 hours :)

What type and size wick?

If you want the candle to pop out, you have to use a wide mouth.  I would use a 6/0 square braided wick.
