I have been attempting to keep the ants out of my honey tank. I have used boric acid around the tank, didn't work. I used cinnamon, didn't stop them. So i used hot pepper spray on the outside of the tank and it is working so far.

Good idea... I hate ants in my honey house. I generally spray outside the building and on the water pipes that go to the inside. It has worked so far.

I use a mixture of boraxo, AKA 20 mule team borax, and plain sugar in equal amounts. The sugar entices them to carry it back to the nest and wipe them all out.
