In this June 2013 thread,
http://forum.beemaster.com/index.php/topic,41645.0.html , I talked about getting some Dell 780 64-bit SFF computers running Win7-64bit and they have worked great. I also bought a mini tower 780 64-bit and *finally* took it out of the box and have installed Win-7-64bit on it.
I'm not at home where I can look right now but this is what I know... The mini tower has 4gb of memory installed. There are memory sticks installed in two slots. The installation looks like: mem-stick___empty-slot___mem-stick___empty-slot.
As long as the speed, voltage, and type are the same can I add two sticks of 4gb ram in the other two slots and end up with 12gb of RAM?
Thanks! (again :) )
Ed
ETA: corrected the last line to read "...4gb ram in the other..." rather than "...8gb ram in the other..."
