Question: Is it possible to rotate / turn a hive 45 degrees without causing orientation problems? After viewing my current set up over the last week, I've noticed that it seems to face too far east and gets shadowed as soon as the sun moves past noon. I'd like to turn it 30-45 degrees to the south, but not if it will cause orientation problems.

That's what I do if I want to point them a new direction. Go 45 degrees at a time.

I dont know leadpipe if ddbarnhizer puts down a trail of crumbs may find thier way back but then again there are people that get confused putting their robe on. :lol:
