My first geese, after wanting some for forever!  The hen is 3/4 snow goose and 1/4 Pomeranian, and the gander is the opposite. :)  I'm loving them so much I'm thinking about getting another breeding pair. But I'm going to force myself to wait a while longer (just got them Saturday).  Oh but aren't they beautiful?  :D

They're beatiful!

What are you raising them for? To sell chicks?

They are pretty! They seem very gentle too - since they let you get to close to take the picture. Congrats!

They're semi tame, they won't sit and let you pet them, but they don't attack either. Hissing is about as violent as they get.  :D

I'm not sure what we'll do with them, they are pretty much just for pets right now, we may just sell the eggs for eating or hatching, I would like to try and hatch out some goslings for us though too.  So, lot of possibility. :D  Originally, we thought we'd raise some for eating, but after getting them I don't think I could bring myself to consent to their killing.
