My Carniolen bees are robbing the italians in this cold weather
« on: November 25, 2016, 11:16:10 am »
I realised that carniolen bees like robbing  honey from other collonies without making any damage,  they don't have intention to kill other collonies, they just like honey

Usually it's the Italians robbing the Carniolans... Carnis are much less prone to rob than Italians... but then they are all mutts at this point...

So is this post also implying that Carnis can fly at slightly lower temperatures than italian bees?

I don't know if anyone implied it, but yes, they do in my experience.
