Hi, I spent a bit of time reading about pollen supplements. I've found some things that interested me and confused me a bit.
So, this page has some good info on what amino acids bees require
http://www.honeybee.com.au/Library/pollen/nutrition.html.
I notice a lot of recipes use brewer's yeast. This makes sense to me because it contains a lot of these amino acids. However, so
does soy protein isolate. I see some recipes use both. Not really sure why that is, AFAICT they both play the same role.
Also, some recipes use dried egg. However, if you look at the amino acids in egg, they contain almost none of the ones required
by bees.
I'm curious to know if anyone has looked at these three ingredients closely and can give me a better understanding as to their
efficacy relative to each other.
Cheers
