Sounds similar to the Bendigo one. At Bendigo the processing plant was open, so we could see the production line version of uncapping and extraction. They also had their workshop open displaying all the specialist tools like a hand hold cutter, steel box jig for making square supers, etc.
They offered wax dipping and painting for those who brought supers, at $4 each.
There were pest talks, and forage talks. There was also a talk on feeding and packing down for winter, with a lot of demonstration hives. A couple of gear sellers were there as well.
The hosts put on a BBQ lunch fo $10, which was great value - they could only have covered the food costs.
All up a fantastic day!
