Title: Two faced Canadian Premier?
Post by: cidersabuzzin on December 05, 2019, 07:17:30 pm
G&T was at the NATO 70th anniversary in London. Acting the Primadonna and as usual. He was a bit upset when he thought some other leaders were taking the mickey, (taking 40mins to call a press conference when everyone was waiting for him) so flounced off home early. One would think he was running a relatively small property company.
I wonder if this was reported on OAN or Fox News?

You have to hand it to him, he knows  how to lead and get good things done. Small company or Large Nation. Also calls it like he sees it no matter who. King or Milk Shame Man.
:cheesy: As you know he is not shy when it comes to expressing himself.

Ben, I am really getting worried about you. (now in serious mode) you really need to go and talk to a neutral type of person someone who may calm you down somewhat and give you an honest opinion. Probably the best thing is to show some of your friends a selection of your posts and ask, are these healthy? Personally (joking apart) I don't think they are. Sorry to be so blunt, but its time to take stock!

Otherwise, go sit in a dark corner and contemplate your life. Or more importantly your family.

That?s just it Cider, I am neutral. A neutral minded person has to look at facts, then and only then can a neutral minded person reach a factual concussion. Perhaps your observation is off winded like your in-accurate news sources?

Ben when one is self annalizing, it always comes out as you want to believe it should. Much more important to get it to some independent people to get an unbiased opinion. For your own good please do it! :embarassed: for you.

Well just another example of typical leftest strategy, if you can?t defend from the opposing message, (Having no ground to stand on), attack the messenger, A sure sign of desperation.  Typical of the left.

LMAO Just like Trump, keep saying it and it must be true.
Now when you and Walley say that Trump is so well regarded in the world and at home and then you see the actual evidence that he is not you still stick to your fantasy.  That is what I call neutral.

Ben Please read back through some of your posts and reflect on the tone of them. It comes across as treating G&T as a cult figure that you should be in genuflection of or on your hands and knees, definitely not normal. But then again in your world, it could be

I can see your point, Cider, but you need to see the reality of it.

On a scale of 1 to 10. we should be comparing sixes, sevens, and eights. Instead, we are comparing one six to many twos and threes, and some ones.. In a case like that, it may well seem as if we are calling a six an eight here and there. Taken into perspective, maybe you can understand the infatuation with Trump.

It is obvious that the far left hates Mr Trump and anyone who will defend him when he is under attack. Even Rudy Giuliani is not left out of being attacked for defending him. I expect no less from you and your attacks toward me when I do defend him. Still he is a human and capable of making mistakes. Same as you and me. There was only one man who deserves worship and it is not Mr Trump. If you are concerned about me for defending President Trump, so be it. The leftist news certainly will not. I will defend him as long as he is right. No matter you opinion of me or your scales. And further more I have no infatuation for Mr. Trump. But I do have an infatuation for the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all. It just so happens that Mr. Trump is the one who is defending this nation right now. And for that I give him a 10

Ben,
I also do not understand why the radical leftists or left supremacists feel the need to spew their hate about Mr. Trump or personally attack anyone who even mildly defends him. They are obsessed with anything Trump in an unhealthy way. Did you see the three of them that testified on Monday? Their contempt for Trump was impossible for them to control or hide.

You cannot calmly talk them off the ledge they chose to stand on.

I do not think that describing them as far left adequately describes them. They are beyond sound reason and thought. Emotions rule, facts are not important.

It is a costume of a sultan or king I assume based on the head gear. I am not offended by it. If others are, they are entitled to their feelings.

Edited to add.
I do not know a lot about black face actors from 100 years ago. My understanding is they played buffoons. The costume appears to be doing the opposite. A character of royalty, leadership and respect. Am I missing something?

I asked that very same question when I was younger.  I suggest you google "what is wrong with blackface?"
Then google Trudeau blackface and/or Ralph Northam blackface or Joy Behar blackface.

Or visit here:  https://www.cnn.com/2019/02/07/us/celebrities-in-blackface-list-trnd/index.html
It's CNN so it's true.

Maybe it's like dressing up as an indian for halloween at an Ivy League school?

Anyway, it was double entendre by Trump I found humorous.

I am genuinely sorry for what has happened in your family recently, it must have put an almost unbearable strain on you. Still, you come back fighting, maybe that helps.
That being said I can only repeat what I said earlier it just seems a little OTT.
The comments are not from a stupid, sick in the head person more from someone who cares.
The pills and salt, if they need explaining, are the "pills" are hypothetical questions and the "Salt" is from the saying "take it with a pinch of salt" The night beds I hope are self-explanatory. I think iddee and I have an understanding he speaks gibberish and I try to understand it  This sometimes requires a drop of pills and salt and even early bed. But it is all in humour. Not so it seems with you. But we can only agree to disagree. As to right or left in politics, treat it all like a game to have a laugh over, I do!

Surely the phrase "two-faced" as in the G&T context has nothing to do with being 'Blacked Up' more saying one thing to your face and something different behind your back. Probably everyone has some form with this. Probably G&T thought they were making fun of him. Something, that upsets him. Aw diddums :cheesy:

Was it on CNN and Fox? It was everywhere! Every news channel every comedian. I thought it was funny as hell. The look on his face when the news person asked him about it looked like he was hit with a tomato. Then he flew home to an impeachment hearing where his buddy Ruddy broke the Ukranians window and blamed it on him.  You cant make this up.

I get it, but not all of it. And I am not going to defend it. I am just not offended by it because I doubt there was sinister intent, just bad judgement.

You can be the morality police if you choose to. I choose not to.

Why is it okay for James Earl Jones to play King Jaffe Joffer in Coming to America? Is he respecting that African culture? I do not think so. Does his skin color or ancestry make it okay? He was born in Mississippi. Should only an African, born in Africa, play that character? Or is it disrespectful no matter who plays the part?

Where do the lines get drawn?

Context matters (to me).

Personally, I don't give a darnn, its all make-believe. Black or White, does it make a difference as long as they are convincing in the part?
