Title: Honeybees and blackberrys

I was just wanting to know how good is the blackberry bushes for the honey bees. All the land by the house is all most pure blackberrys. Then we have dogwoods and the wild plum trees. But I dont know if them are any good with the bees or not.

black berries and plums are worked by bee's hard here, I have never seen a bee on a Dogwood tree yet, I have a few Dogwood tree's myself but never seen a bee even land on one of its flowers, but blackberries and plums they will work hard.......

Same as Ted wrote with a addition;  cherry laurel will bloom around the plum and they like it as well.

Thats good to know. There is about 1 mile of nothing but blackberrys hear so I think that will keep them going for awile.         Thanks for the help
