Title: New from Oklahoma

Hi! Im a first year beek from Northeastern Oklahoma.

A friend gave us some bees this past May from his own hives and gave us some old hive boxes he was going to be replacing anyway. He gave us 2 deeps and a medium super.

The girls are so docile we can sit right by the front entrance and watch them come and go.

I have been reading about beekeeping and had attended a few classes for about a year before getting the bees, but in my research to various things, this site came up with answers so I figured I would join. So hi!  :smile:
