Title: Eucalypts/Resources flowering in Victoria
Post by: OzBuzz on November 06, 2013, 01:17:45 am
Hi Folks,

It's been a while since I've been online - my apologies

Just wondering if anybody has sighted anything flowering or aware of any prospects over the coming weeks? It would be interesting to get some views from fellow beeks who have eyes on the ground so to speak...

Cheers

Oz

The red gums are just starting to flower around Epping, they have buds all over them. Shame I don't have any bees down here. There is a lot of undergrowth flowering in the western  side of the Otways too. I think it's going to be a bumper year out there  :-D

Red Gum is supposed to do well this season! I'm looking for some places that I can put hives on it...

The hard part is finding locations where you can put hives that can handle 'less than commercial but more than amateur' numbers of hives...
