I'm a public school teacher in South New Jersey who started a beekeeping project with parents and students. We've had our hives now for 2 years. I started out with a thimble's worth of knowledge and now have a pint's worth. But we took 60 pounds of honey last year and made enough money by selling to keep the project going. Would be interested in hearing from any beekeepers--and especially those from my area. You can email me at sgraffwriter@gmail.com

Wonderful! I love to see young people being involved with bees. I give a few talks at public schools around here every year and am not allowed to bring in an observation hive due to liabilities. Heck, some schools won't even allow me to bring in honey samples!.
Welcome to the forum!
