Howdy Mek, welcome to the forum.  There are lots of threads and videos here that you can learn from.  There are also videos on you tube.  yeap your Q doesn't work and there are no dumb questions.  Good luck with your bees.

Welcome Mek ,
I too am in south east queensland, I guess this is the point to tell s abut yourself. How many hives, what is your interest? etc. feel free to ask any questions, there are a few of us from SEQ floating around who should be able ot give you some good local knowledge,
