Title: Any Stingless Bees in North Queensland?
Post by: Lone on December 07, 2011, 10:11:29 am
Hello,

I was wondering if anyone in Townsville/Ayr region had a native beehive for sale?  I think they are Trigona hokingsi in this area.  I think I would prefer them in a box to start with.  I am just interested in keeping some pets.  There is a supplier in Cardwell, but with the wet season setting in, I might not be able to get there for 6 months!

Please send me a private message if you can help.  I am not putting this in the Trading Post section as I don't have any excess equipment to swap.  Unless you want a feral cat and can catch it.  I hope I've obeyed all our lovely leader's rules.
