Title: Big moth working with bees on moonflowers!

The suns down and the bees are still working the moonflowers! There was a guest too! A humminbird moth!

Gorgeous photography!  As fast as the wings on those moths move... it's amazing to catch it in such clarity!

Sweet, johnny, that's awesome!  I gotta get me a real camera too!!

That looks suspiciously like a tomato hornworm moth, might want to keep an eye on those veggies!!

That there's a 5-Spotted Hawkmoth (the moth of the tomato hornworm!  :-P).

Bumblebee moths and hummingbird moths have clear wings.

So strange to see the bees out in the dark.  My girls go to bed early (they are good girls)

No, but I think it may be in the same family as jimson weed....its a hallucinogenic...Its a moonflower....or angels trumpet....theres another plant just like it but the flower points down.....Its called a devils trumpet...Really! :)

AKA a sphinx moth I believe, but yes the adult phase of a hornworm.
