Title: Cross-Combing 2009
Post by: Daddys Girl on May 17, 2009, 09:39:51 pm
Is anyone seeing a massive increase in either cross-combing in their TBH/foundationless hives with new packages or cross-combing in existing hives, or reports of same?

It would help out if you could tell what kind of bees, established from a package or a nuc, what kind of hive, and what kind of top bar(wax kerf, popsicle stick, triangular projection). As well, can you offer any data on the orientation of the hive and combs with respect to a compass.

Thanks in advance.
