Title: Legal stuff
Post by: ScottT on May 15, 2005, 04:52:48 pm
I've been researching the legal implications of owning bees and founf this very informative site:
Bee Law (http://www.gobeekeeping.com/LL%20lesson%20six.htm)

And this one (http://www.rivkinradler.com/rivkinradler/Publications/newformat/20051Centola.shtml)
Dealing with spiders.
Basically if you have happy bees your not liable unless you abuse and anger them. Also you need to reasonably prevent stupid people from exercising their rights to worship at the alter of Darwinism by keeping them in a fenced in area.

Here is everything you need to know about raising bees in the beautiful state of OHIO (http://www.ohioagriculture.gov/pubs/divs/plnt/arks/ap/plnt-ap-factsheets.pdf)

Thank you Scott, One of the forgotten aspects of any hobby is liability. Also the Ohio site was  very detailed and informative.
