I remember Fred. I have a Fred Bear recurve bow that I got when I was 12 years old. It is a 45 pound bow which was more than I could handle at full draw. I never got good at shooting it until I was an adult.

My favorite Fred Bear video shows Fred finding a bedded down deer in some thick brush.  He crawled into the brush, felt inside the brush to see if it was a buck.  He felt the antlers, backed out and woke the buck so he could shoot it.
