Good video, I wonder why opposing views have not responded.

Maybe opposing views had time to watch a video that was posted with no clue as to the content?  I usually take my time getting around to something like that.
They are so divorced from their own interests that even when their own security and that of their children is finally compromised, they do not seek to avert the danger themselves but cross their arms and wait for the nation as a whole to come to their aid. Yet as utterly as they sacrifice their own free will, they are no fonder of obedience than anyone else. They submit, it is true, to the whims of a clerk, but no sooner is force removed than they are glad to defy the law as a defeated enemy. Thus one finds them ever wavering between servitude and license.

Good post. It shows how far the Democrats are going to try to win back control. The same way that Marxist regimens take over countries.

Didn't the Republicans try to stop the Democrats from nominating a SCJ in the last year of the Democrats presidency? or have I missed something? Been conned by the fake news MSM? Or is it true and you are telling a pack of lies! Or should I say being slightly disingenuous?  :cheesy:
What's good for bees is usually good for mankind. Doesn't that mean sharing?

Didn't the Republicans try to stop the Democrats from nominating a SCJ in the last year of the Democrats presidency?

The nomination was made.

what is happening now has happened before.  When Obama nominated his person he was in the last months of his 8th year and the senate was controlled by a different party.  The senate chose not to confirm his nomination.  What Obama did was constitutional.  What the Senate did was constitutional.  What is happening how is constitutional.  This is politics.

If Obama had been in the last months of his 4th year with a dem Senate do you not think they would be doing exactly as the Senate is doing now?

There is a huge difference between what is legal and what is political.  Harry Reid did some nasty things that were legal, but political.  One of the things he did is now coming back to bite the dems in the backside.  So it goes....
I would also point out that if the dems had not gone off the rails in the last nomination, they probably would not have a problem convinceing some of the republicans to go along with waiting this time.  They chose to be nasty children and they are now going to pay for it.

But a question:  What is it about someone who swears to follow the law as written, that upsets the dems so much?
They are so divorced from their own interests that even when their own security and that of their children is finally compromised, they do not seek to avert the danger themselves but cross their arms and wait for the nation as a whole to come to their aid. Hum; Is it possible, Chuck Schumer has released similar WARNINGS to other justices?

Supreme Court allows Pennsylvania to count mail-in ballots received after Election Day

(CNN)Mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania -- a critical state for President Donald Trump's reelection chances -- will be counted if they are received within three days of Election Day even if they do not have a legible postmark, the Supreme Court ruled Monday.
Four justices dissented from the order, signaling that the court was equally divided, with Chief Justice John Roberts siding with the court's three liberals.
The ruling is a loss for state Republicans who sought to require that only ballots received by Election Day be counted.
MORE ON VOTING

   ?   CNN's Election 101
?   How to track your mail-in ballot
?   How to stay safe when voting in person
?   What not to wear when you go vote
   ?   What are poll watchers?
?   What to do if your right to vote is challenged
?   Your questions about voting, answered

The highly anticipated order could set the tone for other pre-election challenges and highlights the fact that once again Roberts has moved left to side with his liberal colleagues in an area where he has a very conservative record. It also comes just two weeks before Election Day and intensifies the Supreme Court confirmation battle over Judge Amy Coney Barrett, who could well prove to be a deciding vote on election night challenges.

"Once again, Chief Justice Roberts played the same role he's played over the last year -- appearing to put what he views as the court's institutional interests ahead of what he otherwise might've preferred," said Steve Vladeck, a CNN legal analyst and professor at the University of Texas School of Law. "But with the confirmation of Judge Barrett seemingly a fait accompli, this may be one of the last times that such a move by him is decisive."
Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro, a Democrat, told CNN's "New Day" on Tuesday that he's pleased with the ruling "because the voters here in Pennsylvania deserve clarity and confidence in an election that's already under way."
"Donald Trump has recklessly been trying to sow doubt in this process and limit the voices of the people of Pennsylvania. What this assures is that they'll count," he said.
The case in the battleground state has been of keen interest to voting rights experts who wanted to see how the Supreme Court might put limits on what state courts can do during the coronavirus pandemic to protect the right to vote. The justices have already signaled to federal courts that they should not step in to change rules too close to an election.
Earlier this month, Pennsylvania's state Supreme Court allowed officials to count mail-in ballots received up to three days after Election Day, even if the postmark was illegible.
The ruling would allow the votes of thousands of Pennsylvanians that could have been rejected for arriving after Election Day to be counted. It's not magic, it's math. Here's how CNN makes election projections
Lawyers for Republicans filed an emergency petition with the high court asking it to block the decision. They argued the state court opinion presents an "open invitation" to voters to cast their ballots after November 3, which would inject "chaos and the potential for gamesmanship into what was an orderly and secure schedule of clear, bright-line deadlines."

There have been rulings that some think are in conflict.  Here is the criteria and it is the same one used in 2000 FL.  The courts can't arbitrarily change voting regulations in a state that has legislated voting laws in place.  The legislature in a state can change the laws.

These are the things that cause leftists to lose their minds.  They want the courts to act as a legislative branch to give them what they want.  They do not care that this is not the function of the courts.  That's why someone saying that they intend the follow the constitution causes them to riot in the streets.
They are so divorced from their own interests that even when their own security and that of their children is finally compromised, they do not seek to avert the danger themselves but cross their arms and wait for the nation as a whole to come to their aid. Hi Folks,

What they DON'T tell you about Covid: Fewer beds taken up than last year, deaths a fraction of the grim forecasts, 95% of fatalities had underlying causes... and how the facts can be twisted to strike fear in our hearts.

Hi Folks,

I didn't write this. Does my copy and paste make me less a man? Does it mean I can't feel these words are valid. Does it mean I'm CHEATING SOMEONE if i don't give a source.

Sometimes someone says something that has an effect on me, and I think would have an effect on someone else. I'll copy and paste it.

I didn?t write this - but WOW does it speak to my heart!!!  Worth the read.

Barely the day started and... it's already six in the evening.
Barely arrived on Monday and it's already Friday.
... and the month is already over.
... and the year is almost over.
... and already 40, 50 or 60 years of our lives have passed.
... and we realize that we lost our parents, friends.
and we realize it's too late to go back...
So... Let's try, despite everything, to enjoy the remaining time...
Let's keep looking for activities that we like...
Let's put some color in our grey...
Let's smile at the little things in life that put balm in our hearts.
And despite everything, we must continue to enjoy with serenity this time we have left. Let's try to eliminate the afters...
I'm doing it after...
I'll say after...
I'll think about it after...
We leave everything for later like ′′ after ′′ is ours.
Because what we don't understand is that:
Afterwards, the coffee gets cold...
afterwards, priorities change...
Afterwards, the charm is broken...
afterwards, health passes...
Afterwards, the kids grow up...
Afterwards parents get old...
Afterwards, promises are forgotten...
Afterwards, the day becomes the night...
Afterwards life ends...
And then it's often too late....
So... Let's leave nothing for later...
Because by still waiting see you later, we can lose the best moments,
the best experiences,
best friends,
the best family...
The day is today... The moment is now...
We are no longer at the age where we can afford to postpone what needs to be done right away.
So let's see if you have time to read this message and then share it.
Or maybe you'll leave it for "later"...
