I had to look up "ute"  Looks like it's a Australian version of a Ranchero or an El Camino.

Lucky Aussies.  The ute is the coolest vehicle we can't get in the U.S.  A few have been brought in and made legal, but it's really expensive.

My nearest translation of " ute" Michael is that it is a pickup. They vary from 4 cyls. to V8's which are boosted in different ways. A good example is the Deniliquin Ute Muster, an annual event.   http://www.theherald.com.au/story/2609021/deniliquin-ute-muster-2014-monster-gallery-photos/?cs=2452#slide=15

They're made by General Motors' Australian division, Holden Motors, and a few are converted in Colorado for resale in America.  See this:

Nice.  Looks like a modern El Camino.  I wonder why GM doesn't offer them...

I'd buy one, but not at $30k for what's still a 2010-2012 model car, as the Denver company is putting out.  Holden even makes a crew cab version called " Colorado". There was an Australian TV show called "McLeod's Daughters" that used them for everything.  Warning: it's kind of a soap opera, but those cars kept me watching for a while.  Some of the Utes on Holden's website look/sound more like race cars than utility vehicles.
