BeeFest 2024 will bee March 8, 9 and 10. It will bee here on our farm is Taylor Florida. We are doing it earlier this year to try to get ahead of the swarms. All members are invited to come. We have room for tents Campers and RVs. There are hotels within 20 minutes of the farm in Macclenny Fl. The newest one is the Hampton Inn And Suites. Just opened 2 years ago.
If you are driving, please bring chairs and drinks as well as your bee suits. If you are flying, I have 6 bee suits available and a couple of vails.
We provide the food, iced tea and lemonade.
Your children are welcome but you are responsible for keeping an eye on them.
Bring your fishing gear. We have a one acre stocked pond.
Our address is 23523 N County Road 125, Sanderson, FL 32087-3019. Apple Maps takes you right to our door.
If you are coming, please reply to this thread with how many people are in your party. This will give us an idea of how many are coming and how much food we need. Also let me know if you are bringing a tent, camper or RV. Hope to see you here.

Did they rename Sanderson Taylor?

No, we live within one mile of The town of Taylor. Taylor does not have a post office. Our mail comes from Sanderson which is about 15 miles away.

Love the sound of it Jim, as I love the feel of small-town rural areas!! Based of the pictures and description of the of the last Beefeast, this promises to be a hit for all attendees!

PS and just for fun! Normally when preparing a response, I just hit send when finished typing and that practice has gotten me into trouble more than once! 😂
I edited this one and while looking back I'm glad I did! Instead of Beefest, the autocorrect had changed Beefest to Beerfest!!! lol I don't think You, Judy, Your Family, and local friends, are going to all this VERY HARD WORK and preparation for that!! lol

I don't know if I will make it but my words cannot express how commendable it is in my opinion, of you to put on this event each year!!!!.. THANK YOU, AND ALL THOSE INVOLVED, WHO PUT SO MUCH TIME, THOUGHT, EFFORT, AND EXPENSE into making this project such a success each year!!!

We are making preparations for it now. If you are coming, please let me know so that we can plan accordingly.
How many in your family, are you planning on using a tent, pop up trailer, travel trailer or RV.

I'm in, will camp. Right now I think Eleanor, Phoebe and Walter want to come along. I am working on Justus. Madeleine has gotten sophisticated. :P John who came last year wants to bee here, but has a surgery scheduled.

Thanks Brian, I would like to meet you all in person. Judging from reports and pictures of past events, no doubt Beefeast will bee 🐝 a good time filled with good fellowship for all!
We are tied up, in the middle of a home revamping project. I will have to miss this event this year.

Here is the schedule for this year?s event.
The schedule may have to change depending upon the weather. If it is too cold in the morning to bee in the hives we will have to switch things around and do the hives in the afternoon.
