I work in the brewing industry and I wanted to like hopguard, but after two seasons of trying to make it work with this treatment, I can safely say it is an ineffective treatment for mites. No matter how I used it-treatments back to back or the label recommendations, it did not bring mite levels down to an acceptable level. Please don?t waste your time or money on this product, it is irresponsible for Mann Lake to offer this.

csull72 I for one am always interested in hearing the results of folks experiments. Thank you for posting about yours. Have you tried other natural treatments; or any other way of treating for that matter?
Thanks,
Phillip

Apivar has worked great for me, but having to remove homey supers was a pain, formic workedwell too, but did result in occasional queen loss

Checkmite works on small hive beetles as a last resort but there are better ways to deal with them.
