Title: New Website For Locating Honeybee Removal Experts
Post by: Scott Derrick on December 19, 2006, 01:19:09 pm
Hi Everyone,

I have put hours into creating a website dedicated to helping the general public find beekeepers that are willing to help remove honeybees from their property. The site is:

http://www.swarmremoval.com

If you are a beekeeper that is willing to remove bees from property in your local vicinity please join me in this effort by sending me an email with the following information about your desire to have your information published to the swarmremoval.com (http://swarmremoval.com) website:

Name, State, Phone Number and What areas (range) you are willing to travel to...

This website is not totally finished and will evolve just as Beemaster.com has over the years. Although not finished I have gone ahead and launched the site so we could be ready for the spring swarming season by populating the states with people willing to do the work.

This site will be totally non-profit. I will not take any money for advertisement and plan on doing everything out of my own pocket for now. I will take donations for the upkeep of the server but won't worry about that until after the first of the year. I do plan on having a discussion forum and a place where you can load photos of the removal that you have done. Who knows where this will go but I think the ride will be fun.

Please join with me in protecting the bees that add so much joy to our lives. Let’s help make the public aware that there are other alternatives to killing this valuable resource.

Hey Scott,

Found one glitch for you.  CO brings up the Conneticut page and CT takes a 404.

Here go!!!! I live in Kanasa and have scouted  bee hives in empty houses and barns. I looked at onre today and plan to start removing the floor tomorrow. The bees were fling to day at this house. My plan is to remove the carpet  and cut the floor where I think the hive is. I hope to get the bee move to a bee hive by putting the comb out of the floor into a hive. It will be about 50 degree tomorrow.

You are getting permission from someone to do this. Right? Even though the places are empty they still belong to someone and you could be hit with trespassing charges as well as being held for damages you do to any buildings.

we need to get swarmremoval.com moved up in google.  currently, it is on page nine.  if folks would google "swarm removal" and go to page 9 then click on the link, we can help get it moved up.

scotts swarm removal site.  i googled 'swarm removal' and had to go to page 9 to find his page.  if we hit on it enough, we can move it up.  that way, people looking for swarm removal using google, will be more apt to find his page.  you have to do it through google search or it won't be counted by google.
