Title: G'day from Christchurch, New Zealand
Post by: Hiveminda on April 11, 2017, 10:38:30 pm
Hi,

I'm Andrew, a software engineer from Christchurch, New Zealand.

I've been working on a few projects involving scales and monitoring devices for beehives and thought it would be a good idea to learn more about the global beekeeping community and generally bone up on my beekeeping knowledge.

I don't have any hives of my own (yet..got to get it past the Mrs!) though I have worked with a few at work.  I must say I've been quite surprised at how tolerant of my presence and easygoing bees are.  The first time I moved a hive I was expecting to be stung multiple times, but the bees were quite happy to let me move their home around.
