Owl Box Cutout Part one
« on: January 31, 2016, 04:34:31 pm »
Finally got around to doing the Owl Box cutout today. Box came apart easier than I expected. The propolis plug in the 2 1/2 in entrance is impressive. Very gentle bees...took 3 stings on the hands but they were all my fault. Queen got vacced but found her and caged her as I emptied the vac box bees into the hive  body...24 lbs of honey in that teeney owl box...they werent honey bound but it was close. All in all a good day.
