WHen You Requeen Get the Best. This year is Blue, right?
I got into my strongest hive today. There she was, big fat gorgeous queen, painted red. Has a double deep laid as full as could be expected (12-13 deep frames of brood) and no signs of anything like slowing down. I had a little smile.
Then I took a frame of eggs and larvae and called my M. She's the grafter around here. ;) we're going to try the Ben Harden method on this hive.
I'll have pics (hopefully of success) in time for BeeFest.
