I was going to write this about a week and a half ago but due to the flow starting early, not having enough supers, nuc boxes, waxed foundations, etc. and work I didnt get to it. But in an effort to expand Marleys and my continuing education we will be attending Michaels bee camp this year. It took some explaining about how the life, let alone the beekeeping skills she will acquire far outweighed anything the last two weeks of school could provide her. But in the end without any strings shes got her hall pass. Shes excited and Im hoping she brings home a ton of knowledge she can input into her beekeeping endeavor. It will be interesting to see how a young mind takes new information learned from one of the best and moves forward. The other thing we talked about was the difference in location, this will be new to her and an important aspect. In writing this I have also become excited for her.
Heck, Im excited also, dont happen much anymore.
