Sorry for the loss of your Father-in-law. It was kind that 'you' received the 2 hives.

I would (also) like to welcome you to Beemaster. May I ask, is this your first experience with honey bees? Regardless, you will find a treasure trove of information here at Beemaster concerning the honeybee. If you have questions, feel free to ask 'any' you may have.
