We have 3 motels in Macclenney, approximately 25 minutes from here. Here is a screen shot of them:

I have not stayed in any of them so I can not provide any more info.
Iddee and Keith stayed in one of them. Maybe he can provide more info

Thanks Tom, are you bringing any family. Children are welcome and my wife will be setting up projects to entertain them. Do you have a trailer, tent or RV?

I'm in, and I'm bringing the rascals!
That is, current plan is five of us, aged 41, 11, 9, 7, and 5. We'll have two tents, if that's ok.

Jim I have a 22-lb turkey that I raised here but didn't sell, if Judy would like to roast it?

Wish I could come but March is too early for me.  I look forward to the pictures!

Judy says no thanks. I have one in the freezer and 3 in the turkey cage.
Thanks.
See you when you get here.

Hi Jim,

I heard about your event through the Clay County Beekeepers Association.  I will be unable to attend on that Friday, but I would love to drive up on Saturday and Sunday.  I was thoroughly surprised to see that I am only about 45 minutes from your location!

With as large of an event as this appears to be, I would like to offer to loan you a small PA mixer, mic, and speaker as well for addressing the crowds.

Excellent.  Since I will be unable to make the Friday events, I can drop by on the Thursday prior and set up the equipment so that you'll have it available on Friday.

I appreciate that but Saturday is when we will need it so no need to come by on Thursday.
Thanks.

Would love to attend this. Sounds awesome and educational. Especially since I was told 2 days ago that the beekeepers' association in Marion County has disbanded.😭😭😭😭

Just curious, Jim. How many of are you expecting to descend upon your farm? Also, what time on Friday does it start, and what time on Sunday does it end?

Probably 100-150 or more.
Starts at 8:00 on Friday, ends late Sunday. A majority of the people will leave after lunch due to traveling.
