Had a friend come on a cut out and was a large one for a water box.he filmed it. He was amazed how calm they were and is now thinking of getting some bees after a winter of research.https://youtu.be/j512RcLorWc

JT,
Congratulations, nice hive.
Due to your location, south of I-4 corridor, I strongly recommend that you requeen that hive as soon as you can get a new queen. Be careful to protect the new queen until you are sure they will accept her. Do the finger swipe across the screen to verify they are ready.
Africanized Bees do not readily accept Italian queens.
Africanized Bees prefer in the ground voids where Italian bees prefer above ground voids.
