Hi all. I'm checking in. I don't know much about bees, but I'm eager to learn. I'm surrounding myself locally with folks nearby that plenty of experience raising bees.
I just got my first nuc hive a week ago. It turned out to be basically all drones.  :-x The seller made it right be giving me another nuc hive. This one was a very good hive. (According to my new friend who inspected it with me.) So tonight I merged the two hive into one. (Newspaper between the two deeps.)
I'm crossing my fingers that I did everything right.
Anyway, good to be here with you all.

Welcome to the forum and beekeeping.  :cheer:

Keep in touch and let us know how things are going. Is there a local beekeeping club nearby you can join? If you have questions, there is a multitude of knowledgeable beeks on here who are willing to share their knowledge with you.   -Mike

Welcome to the forum, Archbishop.  Sounds like you already have a group of local help.  They will be a big help also.  Keep us posted, and if you have any questions, just post them.  Good luck to you and your bees.
