It was interesting to me when I was in Afghanistan, that both we and the Afghanis celebrated our independence from England.  There were British people there and they didn't seem to mind...

Considering how much of the world they held at one time...India does theirs in August I think.

Someone really ought to tell them that the world of Ayn Rand?s novel was not meant to be aspirational.
