Title: when does most people usually go on ventrillo?

hey guys i was just wondering if ventrillo chat is even still alive. ive been on afew times and nobodys there.

I was on for about an hour this morning. uess my timing on catching anyone was amiss.Perhaps we can set up a request/schedule time to get things rolling again?

I'll  try to think up a way to either work on a schedule or some kind of notification system to let us know when someone wants to chat. I wonder if I could start a chat group perhaps with a list of member names that are interested to forward a pm to everyone if we intend to log on?

I installed it and have never found any one on it  os just last night I removed it from my computer .

sounds like a good idea buzzbee. does any administration for the site have a backround in html so they could set up a chatroom system for the website?

We had  an ajax chatroom used much less than ventrilo so it didn't get carried over into the new format. The ventrilo program was widely used at one time .

perhaps you could set up a temporary fourm or topic when the schedule might come around and pm people who want to ventrillo?

    Just another suggestion Ken, a group this way is setting up conferencing on Skype. The trial session the other day went well especially with voice, no PTT and very clear. A short attempt at video hook-up did not succeed but that may have been due to a bandwidth problem. So the next part of the project is to investigate the video scenario, a couple of us have managed it with only 2 or 3 people on at the same time.  More to come.

i always enjoyed ventrilo, but you guys were always on when i was feeding and then cooking dinner!  i have been on a couple of times lately, but no one was there...

The best time lately is on Saturday or Sunday morning 8 a.m. To about noon time East Coast time USA
Most likely there will be a lot of traffic on Ventrilo during Bud 7.
In the previous format you used to be able to look at the front page to see if anybody was on Ventrilo or not this feature did not get carried over to the new format
