I tried several times to make reservations at this hotel.

looks like they have gone under.  Columbus, MS is not to far.  1/2 an hour or so.  looks like there are several choices there.
Someone really ought to tell them that the world of Ayn Rand?s novel was not meant to be aspirational.

Thanks. You must need to call them directly. No other online source goes through.

Well, It is official. I am coming and I will be bringing another new beekeeper, has no bees yet.
That is if it is OK with you Bud to set up a tent and stay on the property.
Need to find my tent and all of the equipment. I have not used it since my son got too big to carry and he is 37.
I'm excited.

Jim, glad to see you found someone to team up with!

Bud1, we (wife and I) are planning the trip and I wanted to know if kids are welcome, I'd be bringing 3 of 'em?  I feel like I've seen kids in the JP Bud vids.  Very excited to meet you all this Spring!  Thanks -Andy

Hey all!

Just poking my head in from a VERY crazy couple of years at work and home, to let you know that I won't be able to make Bud 7.   I have a business trip that runs over those dates that I booked just the week before the dates were announced.  I'm crushed.  I was so counting on getting my 'buzz' on at Bud's.

I still have my bees and so far so good this winter, though I have 2 hives i'm crossing fingers and toes for.  I am hoping that life is going to settle down for me in 2015 and I can come back to the community(ies) that I've had to neglect.  I miss you guys!

That said, I'll lend my voice of encouragement to anyone considering going.  It is a magical, and I mean MAGICAL, weekend that you will not soon forget.  There's just something about Bud and Clyde's hospitality and the generosity of the old-timers () that you end up sharing much much more than just bee knowledge.  For me, it borders on spiritual.

I swear, if the plane tickets hadn't already been purchased, I would cancel my trip and be darned! lol.  But there is always Bud8.  And who knows, maybe I can convince Hippiebee to make an unscheduled visit. :)

love you all and miss you.  Have a blast and send me a picture of all of you waggle dancing!!!

much love,

liz/ziffa
