Title: bees on figs
Post by: paus on July 17, 2017, 01:20:04 pm
There was topic about fruit and fruit juice awhile back.  Today I went  to my fig tree and started to pick some figs and I soon realized I was not alone.  The bees had every fig covered where a bird had pecked out a meal.  I wonder what fig honey taste like?

I found that article on juice interesting also as it is something not seen here in FNQ, or
at least in any of my observations.
One factor (reason) may be that we have fruitfly rampant here, and so within hours of
damaged fruit happening they move in and the odour created would put anything
off, man or beast.

Cheers.
