same here just in the last 2 days. It is 27 F out there this morning so they are quiet but by noon they will be doing it again

We have a whole pond full of them here. They are loud this time of year.
Just another sound that signals the start of warm weather.
Bees are all bringing in big loads of pollen and we're on our way to swarm season.

I dug a shallow pond in the horse pasture - this time of year I swear the noise down there is above OSHA limits after dark.

They love our rain barrels. My wife and I get a kick out of listening to them talk back and forth between the two locations.

When I moved into my house in town, back in 1985, after a heavy rain, you could barely hear the TV over the peepers even with the windows and doors closed.
Due to the pesticides you hardly even hear them any more.
Last week, at the farm, I noticed that the peepers were as loud as they ever were. Very little pesticides used in this area.
