An update:
It is now in early June. The weather is still cooler than usual. Last year at this time it was hot at
107F. By taking advantage of this cooler weather, I'm putting in another wild golden roots patch. This time it is
3X as big as the last one with lots of organic compost added.
And this time I've installed a dripper system into the new patch as well. Our summer dearth can be
quite dry if it is not under an irrigation system. After this is done, I will work in some granulated azomite to further
provide the needed micro-nutrients for these wild roots. The first patch already have the large green berries after flowering. Hopefully by
this time next year I will see some berries from this patch too. Wish me luck!
