Well now that he's season is over I have to have something to do in the shop away from the house. This is what I havebeen doing.
This wood was cut on my saw Mill then I planed it to 1/2 inch thickness.
The boards are 12 inch wide so I glued them and placed them to get better detail.
The hardware is brass the handles on the sides came from old cabinet doors I had.
This is the cool part .wala.
Yes it's a cooler. Got the cooler .its used to ship froozen foods. Thick. Keeps ice for 10-12 days.

Very nice job John.
I'm working on raising up 2 bar stools. They are too short for our new kitchen island in our new house at the farm. I made 4 round, 11" oak disks. 2 of them get screwed to the lazy Susan plates on the base and 2 attached to the seats. I will bolt 4-2"x 8" spiral oak dowels in between each set of disks to raise the seats up. I plan to bore the dowels and use all thread to bolt the disks and dowels together to make the assembly real strong.

Sounds nice. I'm now building a patio bar with cooler. I'm not using nails or screws. Just dowels and glue. Then six coats spar varnish to seal it.

Mine is not, I still have to pull the summer/fall honey.

I don't pull fall flow till late Feb early March. I let then use it for winter. In mid Ga. We're in a mix zone. Sometimes we get snow and extream cold. Or lots of rain and cold. Sometimes it every mild. I play the winters by ear. Better safe than sorry. Sometimes by leaving the fall flow on I'm able to do heavy splits in spring.
John.besides my water heater just blew out and flooded the house. So need to build things to sell to cover the repairs.If not for bad luck. Then tthe wife's illness is now attacking her bones. She has to have her lower jaw rebuit. More expenses. Insurance will not cover anything because her illness is incurable and untreatable.

I have too many supers on the hives to leave them on the hives all winter. I will leave at least 5 honey frames over the brood box plus what ever is in the brood boxes.
Aren't, you retired military?
If so, they should be covering almost everything.
You have helped me before, time for me to repay the favor. What would help?

I have deeps on mine. Got them down to two high when I pulled last. We have golden rod and black eye Susie's blooming. The smell is on. That should give you then plenty for the winter.
No not retired military. Both sons where vets. Family was all military intelligence retired. I was four f. Had heart attack at 16. I'm semi retired satellite specialist with primstar. Covered 7 southeast states and Caribbean islands. Now having to due until I'm 65 to get my pensions from primestar and the city. Decide I had enough traveling 28 days a month . wanted to do something fun and have time for other things.
I appreciate the offer but we got it covered for now. I just got two more emergency removals today. Hoping to get them and throw a deep of filled comb to get them thru winter.

I am also a woodworker by hobby and love your cedar cooler. I carve animals and fish, build various boxes (never a cooler though) and other indoor and outdoor projects, lathe work from chess and other games to pens. Can't get my car in my 2 car garage for all the tools.

My twin beds other makes pens from stone and rare woods.sells them for as much as 400.00 a set.
