Title: Need some suggestions
Post by: Borion2 on June 03, 2015, 10:59:20 pm
I am currently faced with a difficult removal. The problem is the building. The building on the national register of historic places. As such to do any work from the outside must be done by someone with the necessary permits to to work on historic buildings for restoration purposes. I have permission to remove boards from the interior wall since it is in the attic. Guess what, the walls are made of brick and this changes everything. Doing a trap out isn't feasible because the entrances are located 45 feet off the ground on the front of the building. Attaching a structure to the outside of the building enters into the rules dealing with historic buildings and would cause a problem with the entry to the building.

Grab JP and Schawee and see what they say.  Don't think anyone has more experience with tough removals.
