plastic bottom boards

Anybody ever use them?  Do you like them?  Is the plastic "slippy", or is there enough friction between it and the bottom deep that it won't slide around when you work with the hive?

First year beek with only one hive, so take it for what its worth.

I do have one with the slotted bottom board, the Ultimate Bottom Board for $14.95.  Yes, that is the name.  It has pegs to hold the hive in place, so I haven't had any movement front to back.  Side to side it has moved slightly, but only when I don't get the hive box completely free from the next one down.  My bees really love to glue everything together.  I have watched bees seem to get stuck in the openings at the front of the hive, but they are able to get out.  Seems OK for me, but I haven't tried to close it up for winter yet.
