I use hives dadan and root.

I've been close but never gone through that region.  Spent New Years in Sevastopal several years ago.  One of the beekeepers I follow in Ukraine has a big apiary that runs almost entirely alpine style hives.

I know, I saw some of your videos.  Looks like you have some old style lounger/sunbed type hives as well.
