Old Chevys are cool too !
I was just thinking Rovers might be more plentiful and cheaper down there and the styling stayed basically the same for a lot of years.

'68 Rover Series II

Iconic to Americans that watched nature shows like "Wild Kingdom". If you say "truck", then say "Africa" or "Australia" ... that's what I think of.

A Rover series truck could be converted into a cool looking honey truck, imo. I've always liked those old nearly-bulletproof things from the '50s to the '70s. Don't care for the new ones... They're rare here, but ought to be some left down there .. if he's into that sort of thing.

As she proved! Didn't she do a swell job of getting it all together!!

Same here! I once had a 1950 chevy with the corner cab windows.

Thanks animal, same young lady, same positive attitude, with fresh new ideas!  I love the restored truck incorporated into the great idea of her marketing strategy! Absolutely  brilliant!

This is one that I bet Lesgold can and >will< appreciate! I certainly do! Thanks for posting!

Good Reagan, thanks for your clarification. I?m sure there are others who may not like her style either, It would be strange if all did.

On a positive; Her style in that short video of the OP may very well spark interest and attract new beekeepers to the hobby which might not have given the hobby a second thought otherwise . As mutual beekeepers I hope that we can agree on this positive prospective as good in that respect. 😊

No one is filing charges against her, Phillip. I watched the same video you did, and I came away with a different opinion. I do not have anything against her personally, I just do not prefer the style of her videos. That's all.

You are right about them giving up once the brood comb is exposed. Most of my stings during a removal came from them getting under my clothes and getting mashed.

Thanks iddee.

Update: Again for fairness, for this young lady beekeepers sake, I mean to clear the air, as I feel a certain responsibility to this young beekeeper/beeremover if she is innocent of the 'charges' filled against her   since I am the one, by chance, who introduced her nice video here..

The young lady beekeeper did a mother video, which she 'foretold' at the end of the originally posted 'short' video in the OP. I decided to break down and have a look at that video "for myself"....  Im glad I did....
This removal consisted of not one, but two hives. The one in the OP and another.

The mother video; Titled: "Aggressive Bees Instant Regret" is a little over 7 minutes long. She 'did' warn of aggressive bees. She 'did' tell 'when and why' she put on her veil... (with her hair inside by the way).  She 'did' tell that she 'always' has her bee suit on 'standby and ready'. She 'did' warn of the possibility of Africanized bees in that area. She 'did' tell that she 'received stings' ...... and more....

For those who may not like her style... Thats fine.... In America we have that right and choice;
But Nothing fake about this girl from watching only 'half' of the mother video.
And again to be fair.  Her narrational skills might very well be considered educational to a newer beekeeper, or any beekeeper who might not know the basics of bee removal... IMHO
